Ahhh the Moat Theatre... I seem to spend a lot of time there these days! I'm not complaining, it's on my doorstep and some of the best musicians around are playing there! Tonight, for example, we have Pete Kavanagh, Tia Burke, Fia Rua and Grainne Hunt all playing for the Skylarks Music Club.
It was an enjoyable night featuring 4 artists with different styles, so there was definitely something there to suit all tastes. Each artists had 30 minutes for their set and then, at the end, they all united for a few singalong songs.
Was it good? Yeap! Was it fun? Yeap! Would I do it again? Oh hell yeah! Over all, the night was just a fantastically chilled night of music, a great way to relax on a cold Saturday night.
I'm already looking forward to Skylarks 4!
