I've been following the Muddy River Band since they started playing together back in 2023, and it's been fantastic to see them grow as a band, become a tighter unit, and sellout the large theatres around the country!
The band, if you don't know all ready, play amix of Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Neil Young songs. They don't try and imitate them, this is not some sort of tribute act, they put their own spin on the songs and, for me, that makes it more enjoyable! Songs I would ordinarily switch radio stations because of, I now, as I try to take some photos, end up singing along to. That must count for something!
As always, the Moat Theatre looked and sounded great. The packed-out audience seemed to have a lot of fun, they sang along most of the night!
