20 Years of the Irish Singles Chart

Linda Coogan Byrne and her team over at WhyNotHer have put together a startling report on the state of the Irish Singles Chart over the last 20 years and how it practically ignored Women and BIPOC.  It's an incredible piece of work, one that, had all things been fair and equal, should never have had to be complied. Unfortunately, like most things, the Irish Music Industry isn't a fair and equal place... Anyway, don't take my word for it, click here to read the report.

2019 MJs

Normally, at the end of the year, I put together a few collages from the gigs I've been to throughout the year. This year I thought I'd try something different, so ladies and gentlemen, I give you the first ever MJs! I think they are rather self explanatory, so I'll not even try to explain them! Check them out below:

2019-12-22 Christmas Concert - Main Street Food Bank

I nearly forgot about this... It was a last minute decision to go, mainly because I only found out about it at the last minute, but it was in aid of a local food bank in my home town, so... Yeah, that's a good cause. Just on that, how the hell do we need food banks in modern day Ireland??? Anyway, I got to see Gemma Cox , Davie Furey and Sina Theil perform, so not only was it a good cause, but it was a good night of music also! Check out the photos below: Gemma Cox Davie Furey Sina Theil
